"If you taught online during COVID no matter how briefly or chaotically, you have online teaching experience. If you took an online course or attended an online seminar, you have experience with online learning. Highlight these kind of experiences when you reach out to department heads if you are interested in online teaching. Stress what you like and find helpful about the medium."

Este libro sobre inteligencia artificial aplicada a la educación superior ofrece una perspectiva fascinante sobre cómo la IA está transformando el aprendizaje y la enseñanza en las universidades. Hoy en día, las tecnologías avanzan rápidamente, y es esencial que los docentes se capaciten en el uso de herramientas como la inteligencia artificial para comprender mejor las nuevas generaciones de estudiantes y adaptarse a las cambiantes formas de enseñanza. Este enfoque no solo mejora la educación, sino que también ofrece un aprendizaje más personalizado y eficiente.

Frente al "pánico académico" que a veces genera la IA en las Humanidades, este manual de la UAGRM (Bolivia) llega en el momento exacto. No es solo un listado de herramientas efímeras, sino una respuesta directa a una realidad diagnosticada: aunque el 70% de los docentes reconoce la importancia de la IA, la mayoría carece de formación práctica para implementarla. Lo más valioso de esta propuesta es su enfoque "pedagogía primero, tecnología después". A diferencia de otros manuales técnicos, aquí se estructura el uso de la IA basándose en la Taxonomía de Bloom, demostrando cómo herramientas como ChatGPT o Copilot pueden potenciar procesos cognitivos superiores (evaluar, crear) en lugar de simplemente automatizar el plagio. Es destacable (y muy innovador) que el manual haya sido co-creado con estudiantes, rompiendo la jerarquía tradicional y validando que, en competencias digitales, el aprendizaje es bidireccional.
