Maria is a first-generation student navigating her university experience one system at a time. She completes her application, secures financial aid, then hunts through the campus portal, mobile app, learning management system and club platform.
She checks grades in her LMS, financial aid in a separate portal, housing in another, and advising notes in yet another. When she applies for an internship, she re-enters information already scattered across her systems and requests an official transcript — one she can’t even see.
Each office knows her in fragments, but no one — and no system — sees her whole. The institution believes it is “data-rich,” yet Maria’s experience is fragmented, confusing and often discouraging.
These application-centric workflows are the product of 30 years of Edtech.
Now imagine a different world.
