"Accessibility is one of those rare concepts that almost nobody argues against. Making websites easier to navigate for people with disabilities is a fairly uncontested virtue. Semantic HTML, descriptive links, meaningful image descriptions, and keyboard navigation all help create a web that is more inclusive and usable.
Yet the AI era has introduced an unexpected, deeply ironic wrinkle into this story. The websites doing the most to make information accessible to humans are often the same websites making it easiest for machines to harvest."

Le Printemps de l’esprit critique est un événement national qui promeut l’esprit critique auprès de tous les publics sur tous les territoires,. Sa 4e édition se tient du 1er mars au 30 avril 2025.
Thématique 2027 : la démocratie À l'heure où les informations circulent à une vitesse inédite, où les connaissances évoluent sans cesse, où les opinions se confrontent et les manipulations peuvent fragiliser le débat démocratique, le développement de l'esprit critique constitue un enjeu citoyen majeur. Entendu comme la capacité à trier, analyser et qualifier l'information afin de construire, aussi librement que possible, un jugement éclairé, il est aujourd'hui indispensable à l'exercice de la citoyenneté. Chaque année, le Printemps de l’esprit critique explore une thématique d’actualité qui vient nourrir sa programmation. Après la vaccination (2022), le réchauffement climatique (2023), l’intelligence artificielle (2024), l’alimentation (2025) et l’argent (2026), la démocratie a été choisie comme fil conducteur de cette sixième édition.

Before deciding how to update the standards, we must first ask a more fundamental question: what is education for in a world shaped by artificial intelligence, and what does high-quality teaching now require?

El nuevo dominio innovador de PISA 2029 sobre alfabetización en medios e inteligencia artificial (MAIL) pretende ser un instrumento para apoyar la evaluación de estas intervenciones. MAIL se define como un conjunto de competencias necesarias para interactuar de forma eficaz, ética y responsable con el contenido digital, las plataformas de medios y los sistemas de IA.
El nuevo Dominio Innovador PISA 2029 sobre Alfabetización en Medios e Inteligencia Artificial (MAIL) pretende ser un instrumento para apoyar la evaluación de estas intervenciones. MAIL se define como un conjunto de competencias necesarias para interactuar de manera eficaz, ética y responsable con contenido digital, plataformas de medios y sistemas de IA.
Esta evaluación arrojará luz sobre si los jóvenes estudiantes han tenido oportunidades de aprender a involucrarse de forma proactiva y crítica en un mundo cada vez más mediado por plataformas mediáticas y sistemas de IA. Evaluar la alfabetización en medios y IA revelará hasta qué punto los estudiantes pueden evaluar la credibilidad, calidad y propósito del contenido digital, para que en última instancia puedan tomar acciones bien informadas y éticas mientras continúan participando de manera responsable y eficaz en la sociedad.

"While national test scores have dropped to levels not seen in decades, average high school GPAs are actually climbing. Grading systems vary heavily from classroom to classroom and teacher to teacher. A student who receives a B+ could be proficient in a subject, but it may just mean they consistently turned their homework in on time. These inconsistencies suggest the traditional grading system is increasingly disconnected from the skills students have truly mastered."
