Over 90% of faculty say GenAI is killing critical thinking

Over 90% of faculty say GenAI is killing critical thinking | Education 2.0 & 3.0 | Scoop.it

Ninety per cent of over 1,000 faculty say they are concerned that generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) programmes like ChatGPT and Copilot will diminish students’ critical thinking skills, while 95% say it will increase students’ overreliance on AI tools, according to a recent survey.

Este artículo presenta algunos resultados de la investigación publicada por la Asociación de Coloegios y Universidades Norteamericanas: "The AI Challenge: How College Faculty Assess the Present and Future of Higher Education in the Age of AI".

Via Edumorfosis
Edumorfosis's curator insight, February 1, 7:53 PM
