L’ensemble des enseignantes et enseignants que je connais, ou presque, est fatigué d’avoir à composer avec ChatGPT et l’intelligence artificielle (IA) générative. Bien que quelques collègues s’emballent devant le potentiel créatif de ces nouvelles technologies et l’accessibilité qu’elles offrent aux personnes handicapées ou lors d’études dans une autre langue, ce que je vois surtout, c’est de l’exaspération devant l’usage malhonnête qui en est fait par des étudiantes et étudiants, au détriment de leur expérience d’apprentissage (sans compter le poids qui vient s’ajouter sur les épaules du corps professoral, des auxiliaires d’enseignement et des doyennes et doyens qui enquêtent).
