Translator 'lost work' after reporting anti-Semitism | Metaglossia: The Translation World | Scoop.it
As universities confront accusations they have downplayed anti-Jewish rhetoric, some academics say claims of anti-Semitism have diminished the right to protest.

"An interpreter has described how she stopped getting work at a university after she reported anti-Semitic comments that she was supposed to translate.

The woman, appearing at a royal commission under the pseudonym ACK, is not Jewish but has close connections to the community.

She relayed hearing a student say words to the effect of: "Hitler didn't have anything against Jewish people. He just didn't want them to suffer."..."
