August 21 – UEFA will distribute more than €935 million of revenue from Euro2024 to its 55 member associations over the next four years.
A further €331 million of prize money has been awarded to competing nations while €240 million was given to clubs who released players for the tournament.
UEFA said the Euro 2024 disbursements via the HatTrick programme are a 21% increase on 2020 and a new high water mark for the solidarity fund.

July 30 – Plans to stage the 2030 and 2034 World Cups have passed a key landmark with FIFA receiving the formal bid books from leaders of the seven member federations involved.
The 2030 tournament is being co-hosted across three Continents for the first time with Spain and Portugal joined by Morocco along with South America’s Argentina, Paraguay and inaugural 1930 hosts Uruguay.
In contrast, Saudi Arabia is the sole candidate for 2034 after being controversially fast-tracked by FIFA last year.

September 3 – In a move that has been welcomed by supporters across the Continent who had complained about spiralling costs, UEFA has announced new capped ticket prices for away fans in the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.
The reduced costs will come into effect for this season before being lowered even further for next year.

August 27 – Euro 2024 generated an economic impact of more than €7.4 billion in Germany, according to a Nielsen Sports study. 
That figure exceeded expectations said German federal minister of the interior and community Nancy Faeser. “We truly turned the European football championship into our “Heimspiel für Europa”, making it a summer of sport in the heart of Europe. I’m very pleased at the study’s findings: an economic impact of €7.4 billion in Germany exceeds expectations for hosting the tournament in Germany.
