Today we have quite an interesting topic. SpaceX Starships on Mars. Does it still make sense to return them to Earth after landing on Mars or is it better to simply leave them on the surface for other purposes. Now although in the past this seemed like a fairly clear cut answer, currently, it doesn’t seem quite so obvious a choice. In fact, it may actually turn out to be (at least in the short term) quite detrimental. This topic is one I think that warrants quite a lot of discussion so I’d like to hear your opinions in the comment thread here. Perhaps this may event deserve a follow-up video to break this down and expand on in the future. This SpaceX Starship update was epic and we'll also cover over a little news of the week. Now there is actually a huge amount to break down here even after all of the information shared the previous week as Starship was being assembled for the presentation. So what have we learned over the last week and why is there so much excitement about this amazing vessel? Let's get stuck right into all this.

A summary of Elon Musk's 2019 Starship Update held on September 28th, 2019.

On Saturday, September 28th, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk stood in front of an audience in Boca Chica, Texas, and presented the fully assembled SpaceX Starship, 50 meters tall and made from shiny stainless steel.

After Elon Musk gave his presentation about the progress of SpaceX's Starship program, I had the opportunity to pick his brain just a little. In general I wanted to let him talk a lot and see where his mind went, but luckily for us aerospace enthusiasts, I got a little juicy extra bit of conversation at the end.

We talk about how will SpaceX colonize Mars, and give you the most interesting facts from Elon's Starship presentation in Boca Chica, and of course also our thoughts and views on these topics.

The prototype had been stacked, the audience assembled and Elon talked, about the progress which had been made, the changes to the design and the plans for the future.

With SpaceX completing a succeful test flight of their Dragon 2 capsule, they are almost ready to launch their first humans into space. But before that flight takes place, SpaceX will need to perform an in-flight abort test, which could get very explosive!
