We firmly believe Elon developed the Tesla Cybertruck with the long-term goal of utilizing it as a Moon or Mars Rover! And we don't think SpaceX's recent Mk1 Starship test fail will push back Elon Musk Mars plan timeline so much.

In September 2019, Elon Musk unveiled the first iteration of his next-generation vehicle, Starship.

While SpaceX continues to push the limits, this next endeavor might be its most ambitious yet. SpaceX was founded with the intention of one day creating a human colony on Mars, and Elon Musk hopes that Starship and the Super Heavy rocket will be the way to get there.

SpaceX’s first full-scale Starship prototype has suffered the significant failure during testing, destroying or severely damaging large sections of the rocket during a cryogenic loading test at the company’s launch facility in South Texas.

The partially completed Mk1 Starship at SpaceX's Boca Chica facility was undergoing tank pressure tests when the top few meters of the rocket exploded off and were propelled about 100 meters into the sky.

The company Nanoracks has booked a spot in SpaceX rideshare program for their Space Habitat Demo mission, where they will try to build a small space station from used rockets! On the other hand, China is busy preparing their most powerful rocket, the Long March 5, for the Chinese Mars mission.

Since the explosion happened the other week and destroyed the MK1 starship, there’s a lot of new plans taking place with SpaceX Starship MK3 development. A very interesting Falcon 9 launch coming up which is the nineteenth commercial resupply mission to the International Space Station. And then on top of all this, the Orion capsule that is destined to fly on the first Artemis mission arrived for some intense testing inside the largest vacuum chamber in the world at Plum Brook Station.
