Wow! There's got to be a catch. I would think a product like this would put some pressure on GoToMeeting, Webex and other PC-focused presentation options.

Mozilla est très connu pour Firefox ou pour Thunderbird, c’est vrai, mais la fondation est également à l’origine de nombreux autres projets. Preuve en est, elle vient tout juste de se lancer dans une nouvelle aventure en développant un outil de collaboration en temps réel du nom de TowTruck. Un outil très simple, très accessible et qui va tout simplement permettre à plusieurs personnes de travailler sur le même code source et donc sur la même page web. Le tout avec quelques fonctionnalités plutôt sympathiques et que vous allez pouvoir découvrir en détails grâce à une chouette vidéo de démonstration. Via Frédéric DEBAILLEUL

Il faut lire l'article pour s'apercevoir que cet outil ne concerne que les développeurs web. Un exemple de contenu mal construit avec les mots clé importants placés trop bas dans la page :(

Understoodit est un outil pour l’enseignant qui mesure le niveau de compréhension d’une audience…en temps réel. Understoodit permet en effet de sonder trés facilement vos élèves ou étudiants pendant le cours et d’obtenir un feedback immédiat de la salle. Plutôt pratique pour enfin savoir si cet amphi devant lequel vous êtes en train de faire cours comprend votre exposé. Le système est particulièrement utile pour les groupes importants. Bon projet quoique...complexe si lien ent tablett, dimension collaborative, usages des logiciels comics life + retouche imag... pb de temps / gestion /stress/complexité/ prise de risque faut de maturité des outils entre-eux....

Un article en ce début de semaine qui sera un peu différent de ce qui est fait jusqu'alors surZinfos. Différent car j’attaque ou du moins je commence à arriver sur Windows 8, ce qui n'étais pas encore le cas sur le blog mais aussi un peu plus sur les produits ipad etc..... Un article qui va vous parler de lecture numérique ( ebooks) gratuite et illimitée, tout cela grâce à youboox la bibliothèque nouvelle génération mais aussi grâce à une lectrice de Zinfos (Laurence) que je remercie par ailleurs.
Alors, pour faire simple, c'est quoi exactement Youboox me direz vous et quel est l'intérêt pour nous tous et toutes. Grosso- modo Youboox c'est une bibliothèque virtuelle qui vous, nous, propose un catalogue de livres numériques gratuit et illimité, c'est un peu le même principe de Deezer et Spotify qui eux sont pour la musique. Le moteur de google est tant exhaustif qu’il en est parfois inexploitable pour certains besoins. De plus, Google est très bon pour les mots, mais beaucoup moins bon pour les illustrations même si d’énormes progrès ont été fait dernièrement. Fort de ce constat, pour mes besoins propres et surtout à la demande d’un lecteur, je me suis mis en quête de trouver des sites internet où se trouvent en priorité des illustrations, des œuvres d’art et des photos. From a quick comparison of these two lists it may well look like the benefits far outweigh the disadvantages, but those disadvantages are BIG, especially the cost. If you are thinking of introducing iPads in your school, then I think by far the best way to start is just by having a few in the teachers’ staff room and letting the teachers explore them and see what they can do with them. If this can generate some enthusiasm then you could be on your way to having a 21st century language school. Via Nik Peachey

I don't count on McAfee for anything. They get it wrong too often and they expect to be paid for it. For personal use AVG or Avast are more reliable and less intrusive. Especially when dealing with people who don't really want to learn how to use a computer.
