Stephanie Felix's curator insight, April 2, 2017 10:23 PM

The reason why I thought that this article would be important to include in my curation was because it sheds light on sensitive topics. People who are low income, elderly and disabled suffer consequences in health due to the fact that they can get quality care as opposed to someone who averages $100,000 per year that can afford high end doctors. Despite efforts that have been made for example driving productivity of hospitals, as well as physicians and even implementing checklists to standardize care it still hasn't made a significant difference.
