Dylan Ellis's comment, February 6, 2014 2:29 PM
Looks like this is a sign of shifting baselines and misinformation. Most of the fish in the early pictures look to be Black Seabass which were protected from both commercial and sport fishing in 1982. Shifting baselines take effect because we have no idea how big these fish were before recorded history. Fish sizes to change relative to catch but these size and quantity declines in the photos look to the result of DFW fishing regulation." - Dylan

Federal study warns of sudden climate change woes

Federal study warns of sudden climate change woes | Capstone: An ESRM Coda | Scoop.it
The panel said Tuesday that melting ice in the Arctic Ocean and mass species extinction are already here and worse than predicted.
PIRatE Lab's insight:
Lets hope this new early warning system for climate change works...oh wait! The Earth is a living ecosystem, and it wants to attain balance. When the Earth gets too hot, it will cool itself down to achieve balance. You must always look for the equal and opposite reactions that occur with everything we deal with in life (thank you Dr. Einstein!). Research and think about every aspect a situation can impose on you. This movie was released in 2004, and did not gain credibility until 2013. Let's hope our generation can come to grips with issues and make proper decisions for what will effect our lives and the lives of everyone to come.
