This is why your resume was rejected | The Recruiters Lounge | Capstone: An ESRM Coda | Scoop.it

I stumbled across a very interesting infographic today that I had to share. It details reasons why resumes (commonly known as CVs overseas) are rejected. As I reviewed it, I speculated how closely it mirrored the attitude of recruiters here in the good ol’ USA. My guess is that their reasons for rejecting a resume is pretty similar to ours.

PIRatE Lab's insight:

It is a great idea to start looking over examples of effective resumes.

Students resort to study drug Adderall

It’s a familiar scene: four o’clocks week in Linderman Library and, in the reading room, you can hear a pin drop. Every flat space imaginable is being used to spread out books, notes and copiously long study guides. Students have been parked here since well before dinner. They will remain here until the telling alarm rings for the 2 a.m. close.

PIRatE Lab's insight:

I trust that you all will not resort to exotic and possibly brain-altering chemicals in a bid to meet some academic timeline.
