Article highlights why it may be that incorporating social media in the classroom could be good. I feel that it really highlighted the fact that students are already on it, so why not try and use it to our advantage to connect with students in a way that they know how to.

Since most instituions pursue O.I. as a means of cost cutting (text based presentations w/o instructor/mentor inter-activity) it is no wonder the public perceived this in a critical light.
