My take on Millennials...

The definition of Millennial is about the age someone is born..  The context it's being used in today is talking about a philosophy and mindset..

In an age of disruptive change, it’s hardly surprising that there’s a new seat in corporate boardrooms.

The new position: Chief Disruption Officer.

The job description: Shake things up.

If CIO and CMO can't play nice then it's time to move on... either hire a CDO or hire a new CIO that has the skill sets to drive collaboration and innovation! 

The age of big data is here. Over the course of a week, billions of pieces of content are created and spread all over the web. Indeed, on average, 500 million tweets are sent everyday.

As someone that mentors and coaches leaders and friends, I’m often asked what one skill should I focus on mastering.. my answer STORYTELLING!

The World of Work is changing... I agree with this post on the importance for CIO's to embrace and develop a technology culture that is social, collaborative, connected, mobile, global which eliminates boundaries and limitations on hiring and finding talent to drive innovation!

Growth hacking is the practice of companies with limited budgets using non-traditional and innovative methods of obtaining exposure and therefore generating growth.

It Isn’t So Much Social Media, But Just Good Business

And in case you forgot, it costs about 6x more to acquire a new customer than it does to retain those you have. So if nothing else, a great reason to be on top of your social channels is that keeping those customers is just far too important to the bottom line.

But there are many more reasons too, with adoption of Social not even near its peak, the continued evolution of customers and brands connecting on line will only get bigger and companies simply cannot risk ignoring anyone for losing business is only part of the problem as negative word of mouth can be equally as dangerous.
