A senior regulator’s admission reveals uncomfortable truths about silence, ethics and trust inside the FDA.

China to Donate $500 Million to WHO, Stepping into Gap Left by U.S. –

China has pledged to give $500 million to the World Health Organization as the country is set to replace the withdrawal of United States from the organization.  As the group’s top state donor. Chinese Vice Premier Liu Guozhong told the World Health Assembly that his country is making the contribution to oppose “unilateralism”. China’s donation will help support the WHO through 2028.

In the latest financial statements (2022–2023), the U.S. was the top contributor to the organization with $1.28 billion, followed by Germany ($0.86 billion), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation $0.83 billion, and the GAVI Alliance ($0.48 billion). China was not among the top 10 contributors.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation, which holds 77% of the votes in the Danish pharma giant Novo Nordisk, has also pledged to provide up to 380 million Danish kroner ($58 million) from this year to 2028.

The WHO has recently cut its 2026-27 budget from $5.3 billion to $4.2 billion due to financial constraints. The amount decreased is similar to the figure that the U.S. contributed to the WHO in 2022-23.

Nan, franchement j'ai pas été gentil avec mon Jean-Marcounet joli, pourtant il nous avait bien prévenus dans une de ses vidéos de comptoir dont il a le secret et après quelques litres de tisane d'artemisia (quoi, c'était pas de la tisane ?)... cé 1 komplo !!!

Mais si, vous voulez pas comprendre, à part les éveillés lecteurs de FranceSoir du serial loser Azalbert, les seuls à savoir manier l'esprit critique paske c'est des rayzistants qui savent se poser des questions pour remettre en question la doxa de l'état profond aux mains de Bill Gates et de George Soros pour lesquels bossent les chinois du FBI en contrôlant les injectés à ARNm avec des tas de micropuces 5G en graphène dedans ! Même qu'Hélène Banoun (Tatie Neuneu) elle l'a dit pask'elle l'a vu écrit dans un tweet d'Alex Jones, le pape QAnon !

Alors, pour suivre le "raisonnement" de mon Jean-Marcounet (nan rigolez pas, c'est pas sympa...), la détection du nouveau variant NB1.8.1 du SARS-CoV-2 signalerait le début de la nouvelle pandémie orchestrée par les chinois du FBI tout ça tout ça... mais Jean-Marc, les variants Delta, Omicron... , c'est quoi alors ? Tu faisais quoi depuis l'émergence de la souche sauvage Wuhan ? Ou viendrais-tu de découvrir, avec un tout petit peu de retard quand même, que les virus évoluent ?

Et puis alors, si on en croit tes pensées parfumées à l'anis, si les méchants virus qui causent des pandémies sont fabriqués par des vilains savants fous (mais pas comme Didou paske si il a les cheveux gras, c'est à cause de sa crème à l'hydroxychloroquine), c'est pour vendre des tas de vaccins qui permettent de sauver les gens tout en remplissant les poches de Big Pharma. Et donc, par extension de ce raisonnement vachement capillotracté (traduction pour les lecteurs de Rance Poire : tiré par les cheveux), ça voudrait dire aussi que les non-injectés vont mourir et que la vitamine D, l'hydroxychloroquine, l'ivermectine, le sélénium, le pastis, ça sauvera personne !

Dites, Antoine Petit, Directeur Général du CNRS et Eric Berton, très courageux président de l'Aix-Marseille Université, combien de temps encore tolérerez-vous qu'un "chercheur" affilié à vos institutions respectives continue à porter atteinte à leur crédibilité et leur respectabilité en disséminant à longueur de tweets, de vidéos diffusées via sa chaîne YouTube, de conférences organisées par des groupuscules d'extrême-droite et de torchons publiés aux Éditions Guy Trédaniel, continue à désinformer le plus crédules en les exposant à une perte de chances préventives et thérapeutiques en se revendiquant de ses affiliations ?

Yannick NEUDER, si cela fait toujours partie de vos priorités, pensez-vous vraiment qu'il soit toujours nécessaire d'observer les désinformateurs opérer en toute impunité ?

‏Dr. Makary and Dr. Prasad publish a new framework for COVID-19 vaccines that they announced via an NEJM editorial, rather than following FDA's usual process and publishing a draft guidance for comment.

The new guidance appears to usurp ACIP's role by making nuanced recommendations about who can have access, and suggesting limited access for others (though, of course, off-label prescription is legal). In addition, it requires new clinical trials that may not be ethical or justified - or feasible.

Stakeholders, again, were not given a chance to have input.

Also, note that it's not, as far as I can tell, on the agency website or the federal register. Even policy statements need to be published in the federal register under the Administrative Procedures Act.

‏Anti-vaxxers have always used freedom of choice and informed consent too justify one taking a vaccine. Now such rights are being directly attacked by Prasad et al in limiting such access to only limited groups. I hope that, as supporters of freedom of choice, such groups might find agaisnt such a decision (irony)…
If evidence-based medicine would have been used in making such a decision, these limitations would never have existed…‏

‏Yesteday`s Senate Oversight committee under Ron Johnson on COVID vaccines was a collage of so many lies and so much misinformation. Luckily, Governor Green brought some common sense to the discussion. But we heard so much weird things, namely around the situation of COVID vaccines in pregnant women where Dr Thorp quoted his paper, an opinion piece written with what seems is family...
One should question the credibility of the journal where the Thorp family published their analysis in as it clearly is one of those predatory journals with a pay for publish intent, as seems the case with thegms.co group of journals. Also, the Thorp family paper is a collage of anything and noting into an opinion piece that does support the claims made there (ref1) except for one sentence without support. Sadly, while the question might be of interest, Thorp and family brings no insight nor new data to the discussion. But on the other end, since Dr. Shimabukuro`s paper, numerous studies have confirmed both the efficacy and safety of the COVID vaccines in pregnant women. Absence of data, dear Nicolas Hulscher, MPH, does not mean deleted data. Mind you that such narrative is only used to maintain an aura around a conspiracy theory that does not exist...
Especially that the data shows vaccination has a positive effect in pregnancy (ref2): 16 studies have assessed COVID vaccination safety with respect to stillbirth, and none has found an increased risk of stillbirth following COVID vaccination.
A meta-analysis reviewing some of those studies, the explainer notes, “found that COVID vaccination actually reduces the risk of stillbirth by 15%,” likely because of the risk posed by coronavirus infection. ”
Another study published this month in the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology that found vaccinated women in Australia were about 80% less likely to experience a stillbirth compared with unvaccinated women. Hughes told us the claims in the posts were “quite false.”
Numerous studies have found that pregnant people who get infected with the COVID have a higher risk of stillbirth and other bad outcomes for both the mother and the baby than those who do not get infected.
A CDC and Prevention study of more than 1.2 million delivery hospitalizations between March 2020 and September 2021, for example, found that American women with COVID had nearly double the risk of a stillbirth compared with those who did not have COVID. The risk was more than four times as high when the delta variant was dominant.
A meta-analysis of 111 studies, which included more than 42,000 pregnant women, found that COVIDsignificantly increased the risk of premature delivery, preeclampsia, neonatal death, maternal death and stillbirth. The risk of stillbirth among those with COVID was nearly 2.4 times higher than for women without COVID.
