To obtain his Eagle Scout rank, the highest level in Boy Scouts, Molinari is working on a project to prominently honor the Tuskegee Airmen's service to the country and their presence at the airfield, which is now called Freeman Municipal Airport. He plans to erect a larger, concrete monument that will display a large photograph and plaque near the airport's flagpole. The memorial will face the flight line and will include two benches, creating what Molinari termed a plaza allowing people to sit and appreciate the Tuskegee Airmen's contributions and impact on American history.
