I have very mixed reactions to this. The most negative reaction being how Tumblr in general is about the regurgitation of content (primarily images) without context or even proper credit. The fact that this is so popular is also a sad commentary on media consumers.
100 million blogs is very big numbers, which means our life has been changed by internet.
