The largest challenges in moving beyond historic models of schooling are people's emotions and their typically unconscious beliefs, assumptions, and values. To be achieved, a transformative model must generate professional commitment, political will, and cultural enthusiasm — not an easy task.

This paper aims to shed light on an emergent kind of learning occurring as part of participating in global open online courses. Participants voluntarily jump into an ocean of complexity and fractal nature, yet are able to swim through and learn. The paper outlines Connectivism as the framework for such learning, and describes the structure of PLENK2010 course. Then, four lessons learned during the involvement of the author as a learner in the course are detailed, among them the different channels for learning in such an environment and the (no) need for direct assessment. As the course has still few weeks to go, the lessons learned so far will surely go under further consideration. However, those who consider participating in massive online open courses either as learners or as facilitators might benefit from this primary account.

Les groupes sont synchronisés automatiquement sur Moodle. Sur DECclic, il faut que le professeur le fasse pour chacun de ses groupes. Il faut faire un clique-droit sur le nom du groupe et sélectionner « Synchronisez ».
Une nouvelle version de Moodle a été mise en place aujourd'hui. Pour les utilisateurs, pas de grands changements pour l'instant. Les évolutions concernent surtout le contenu des activités et la restauration des cours.
Internet abonde de conseils utiles sur l'ergonomie de sites Web. Nous prenons au sérieux ceux qui apparaissent être les plus logiques. Mais il est parfois réconfortant de voir certaines théories qui circulent validées par des recherches sérieuses.
