30+ EdTech Websites for Teachers and Educators - Educators Technology

30+ EdTech Websites for Teachers and Educators - Educators Technology | Moodle and Web 2.0 | Scoop.it
Here is a handy infographic we have been working on for the last couple of days. We compiled 32 educational websites based on the Ultimate EdTech Chart we published a few months ago. We arranged these websites into 8 different categories and for each of these categories we came up with four websites that best represent the selected content area. The categories we have included are : websites for language arts teachers, websites for math teachers, websites for science teachers, websites for physics teachers, websites for history teachers, websites for social studies teachers, websites for arts teachers, and websites for music teachers. You can find links to the websites in this chart.

Using Microsoft Sway can help you into turning a Microsoft Word document into a website or a dynamic online portfolio. This feature can even be used in the classroom by taking a document into a multi-media project or presentation that they can present to the classroom.

Securing a Moodle Quiz on an iPad

Securing a Moodle Quiz on an iPad | Moodle and Web 2.0 | Scoop.it

So you want to run a high stakes exam on Moodle using the Quiz. You want to ensure that the learners taking the exam cannot access any other materials while doing the quiz.

This article looks at Respondus - a safe exam browser and how it can protect a Moode quiz being carried out on an iPad.

The article also illustrates a number of other solutions available for Windows and O/S. Who knows this could mean the removal of memory sticks and alternative usernames for controlled assessment tasks?
