5 Video Apps to Boost Your Social Media Reach

5 Video Apps to Boost Your Social Media Reach | Marketing | Scoop.it

Do you want to increase your Social Media reach and make your message go viral? Are you tired of Facebook limiting the reach of your posts?

Video content is one of the best ways to increase your followers’ engagement on Social Media; and when engagement rises, your reach will also grow. The power of video as highly engaging content is the reason why most Social Media platforms are implementing new video products: video ads on Facebook, animated gifs on Twitter, the launch of Hyperlapse for Instagram, etc…

However, if you just create the same type of videos as everyone else, chances are, your followers will also ignore these posts. Users pay more attention to content that is unusual and unique. Posting another video is not enough. It needs to be different from what others are doing.

In this article, I will describe some apps for smartphones that will allow you to create outstanding and unique videos that will surely increase your engagement by making your videos stand out of the mass....

Technology Integration A Key Problem for Marketers - Marketing Charts

Technology Integration A Key Problem for Marketers - Marketing Charts | Marketing | Scoop.it

The state of integration is poor right now,” declares a new study [download page] released by Signal based on a survey of 281 marketers primarily based in the US. Indeed, while respondents recognize a range of benefits to a fully integrated marketing stack, around half of respondents said their marketing data and technology are either managed separately (10%) or that only some tools are integrated (41%). Just 4% reported having a completely integrated stack.

Part of the problem can be traced to the sheer number of technologies being used. In a recent Forbes Insights and Sitecore survey of senior executives at large organizations, respondents averaged 36 different data-gathering systems and vendors for marketing efforts, with some using hundreds.

Four Types of Content Marketing Metrics | Data-Driven Marketing Network | Marketing | Scoop.it

There’s a gap to bridge. The infographic by Pardot.com shows interesting data points, among others the four content marketing metrics categories.

The four types of content marketing metrics can be divided in:

  • consumption
  • Sharing
  • lead generation
  • sales.

As shown in another point made in the infographic (most popular metrics), the research behind it shows that marketers are focusing on Consumption and Sharing metrics but by also taking into account Lead generation and Sales it keeps the content aligned with business objectives....

Seven Content Marketing Tips for Media Pickup and Massive Exposure

Seven Content Marketing Tips for Media Pickup and Massive Exposure | Marketing | Scoop.it
Content marketing can be a great way to gain exposure for your company, but getting the media to care about your brand's news is difficult. Unless you're a Fortune 500 company, mainstream media, and even industry publications, probably won't cover your news.

You can try newsjacking—inserting your ideas and commentary into breaking news in the hopes of being quoted. Journalists get a ton of such press releases, though, and yours is usually just another needle in the haystack.

Survey: 54% of B2B Marketers Struggle with Poor System Integration | KoMarketing Associates | Marketing | Scoop.it
In a webinar hosted by CMS Wire on Sept. 23, Amit Varshneya of Demandbase and Holger Schulze of eG Innovations sat down to discuss the results of the “Trends and Challenges of B2B Marketing Analytics in 2014” survey. Schulze, who led the research initiative, looked at responses from 500 marketing professionals. He found that 54 percent of people claim that a lack of systems integration was a big challenge for marketers this year.

Additionally, Schulze discovered that 44 percent believed poor data quality was a marketing hurdle, and 34 percent said that a lack of resources presented issues. However, 46 percent of marketers expect their analytics budgets to grow, and there is an evident shift toward data-driven marketing. About two-thirds of respondents said that the spreadsheet is their most commonly used technology in terms of data analytics, while dashboards were cited by 54 percent of people.
