It seems like a spaceship arriving to another planet, but it just happened right here on Earth. It's an actual image from the successful Morpheus vehicle test completed today at the Kennedy Space Center's Shuttle Landing Facility.

It has been a goal of Linden Lab to try and make SL work on mobile devices for a long time but it has always seemed near impossible.

Many claimed it couldn't be done.

It's not surprising that the first animation to come out the newly formed Soviet Union was anti-capitalist propaganda, but 1924's Soviet Toys has particularly unnerving imagery, which includes a disappearing woman, a man with cameras for eyes, and a capitalist whose stomach is treated as piñata by the proletariat.

Jacques Tardi, the emblematic figure from the world of comics and graphic novels in France, is the recipient of the 1985 City of Angouleme Grand Prize as well as two 2011 Eisner Awards. Mr. Tardi is the author and creator of one of French comics' most famous heroines, Adèle Blanc-Sec, along with several books on World War I. In A Rigged World, set in the 19th century under the control of Napoleon VI and the Steamer, scientists are mysteriously disappearing and a young girl named April sets off to find her parents, both of whom are scientists. Produced by Je Suis Bien Content and Studio Canal in France, Kaibou in Canada, and Need Productions in Belgium, this animated feature is currently undergoing the animation production process using Toon Boom Harmony.

The Xbox 360 Kinect camera was at one point evaluated for its potential use in mass surveillance of people in their homes, according to documents disclosed by The Guardian.

This information comes from files dated between 2008 and 2010, as leaked by NSA whistle-blower Edward Snowden. The documents suggest during this period a surveillance program codenamed Optic Nerve collected images of internet users through Yahoo's webcam chat service with the help of the United States National Security Agency.
