Learning by doing is by no means a new concept, but experiential learning theory takes it a step further by encouraging students to reflect on what they’ve done and how they’ve done it. As it turns out, this is the kind of learning behaviour today’s employers are looking for.

Considero que la IA agente es una herramienta poderosa para el docente ya que lo ayuda a innovar en el aprendizaje, reduciendo el tiempo a dedicado a organizar y planificar actividades cumpliendo con los objetivos académicos. Además, supone una ventaja a la hora de programar actividades porque esta herramienta elabora actividades creativas que pueden tener dificultad en el momento de crearlas por sí solo el docente.
Por otra parte, pienso que también esta herramienta anularía nuestro pensamiento para crear contenidos lo que supondría una cierta dependencia hacia ella.

La lectura de Agentic AI: What Educators Need to Know me ha dejado con sensaciones mixtas. La autora presenta la IA “agéntica” como una oportunidad enorme para fomentar la autonomía del alumnado y aliviar parte de la carga docente, algo que bastante encaja con la idea de la IA como apoyo pedagógico que plantea Luckin (2018). Hasta ahí, todo bien. Pero echo en falta una mirada más crítica. El artículo insiste en que los docentes deben “experimentar sin miedo”, aunque apenas aborda las condiciones reales que hacen posible ese experimento: tiempo, formación, recursos y un marco ético claro. Selwyn (2019) recuerda precisamente que cualquier innovación tecnológica en educación debe analizarse teniendo en cuenta desigualdades y limitaciones estructurales. Aun así, valoro que el texto invite a repensar nuestro rol docente. La IA no viene a sustituirnos, pero sí a obligarnos a revisar qué significa enseñar en un entorno digital que cambia sin pedir permiso.

Este recurso no solo responde preguntas, sino que puede completar tareas más complejas como analizar datos o generar recursos educativos por lo que puede ser una herramienta beneficiosa para el entorno educativo siempre que se use con criterio. También, nos recuerda que la tecnología no sustituye al profesorado, sino que deben vincularse éticamente para enriquecer la enseñanza.

Para usar la IA éticamente a nivel educativo es esencial apoyarse en la exactitud, agencia, accesibilidad, evaluación y autenticidad, ya que estos pilares invitan a docentes y estudiantes a cuestionar si la información ofrecida por la IA es verídica y a conocer si todos tienen acceso a la tecnología, cómo se evalúa el aprendizaje y quién realiza el pensamiento y la creación, por lo que la IA desde estos principios tiende a potenciar el pensamiento crítico, la equidad y la responsabilidad educativa.

La educación evoluciona hacia un enfoque híbrido que combina la enseñanza presencial con medios digitales, ofreciendo acceso a recursos, flexibilidad y dinamismo. Este artículo sobre la convergencia entre tecnología y enseñanza subraya que el futuro de la educación será híbrido, combinando entornos presenciales y digitales para potenciar experiencias de aprendizaje más flexibles y adaptativas (Collabnix, sf). Creo que la educación híbrida no sustituye a la escuela tradicional, sino que la enriquece. Combinar tecnología con la enseñanza presencial permite aprender de forma más flexible, cercana y adaptada a cada alumno. Cuando se usa con sentido, la tecnología no aleja, sino que acerca el aprendizaje a la vida real y prepara mejor para el futuro.
