Arsenal has opted against a major redevelopment of Emirates Stadium in favour of a “continued evolution” of the venue. Earlier this year, co-chairman Josh Kroenke revealed that Arsenal was “putting together a plan” to renovate Emirates Stadium following the club’s first Premier League title win since 2004. The stadium opened in July 2006 and has a capacity of 60,704. Arsenal currently has a season ticket waiting list of more than 100,000 people.

September 30 – The Premier League has confirmed that Manchester City have been found guilty of more than 100 charges of breaches of Premier League financial rules between the 2009-10 and 2017-18 seasons. An independent Commission found that Manchester City arranged ‘sham’ contracts (which misrepresented the true agreement between the parties) with a number of its commercial partners, as well as relying on ‘sham’ agreements with others, to artificially inflate the club’s revenues and reduce its costs.
