The exciting announcement of a debate between Bill O’Reilly from Fox News and Jon Stewart from Comedy Central which will take place on the 6th of October at George Washington University let to the tickets selling out the very next day. Those who are desperate to get their hands on some tickets can still turn to StubHub and a range of other resale sites where scalpers are selling them for anywhere between $459 and $1,200. While these amounts might seem pretty steep, there are already many people willing to pay for the privilege of being present during the mock debate instead of having to watch it in the comfort of their homes.
Let the Long Awaited Debate BeginThe mock debate has been called, “The Rumble in the Air-Conditioned Auditorium”, and it is set to be moderated by E.D Hill, the anchor for CNN. Just because you could get a ticket doesn’t mean that you are going to be missing out on the action, however, since audiences around the world can tune in to the debate live by streaming it for $4.94. Sitting in front of your computer watching the grand event might not be the same as seeing it live in an auditorium, but this doesn’t mean it won’t be as entertaining, especially with O’Reilly and Stewart at the helm of the show.
