What does an acid trip typically feel like? Each person’s experience with acid will be different. Indeed, each trip may be different. One might be very light, but others can take a frightening and overwhelming turn. Symptoms may begin to show 20 to 90 minutesTrusted Source after taking a dose. The main episode can last several hours. Acid is a long-acting drug. It stays in the body 6 to 15 hoursTrusted Source. Most acid trips won’t last more than 9 hours. The trip During this period of “tripping” or active effects, you may begin to experience sensationalized perceptions of what’s happening around you. This can include “seeing” color or “tasting” sounds. Stationary items, like furniture, may begin to “move” or swell or shrink before your eyes. Coming down Coming down from the trip will feel like you’re gradually returning to Earth. Signs may begin to lessen in intensity. You may feel tired after getting through the hours-long trip and want to sleep. Afterglow An “afterglow” is possible for several hours after the end of the trip, too. This may feel like everything is “lighter” or “brighter” than before the trip. You may also have moments of flashbacks for several hours, even days, after the acid trip is over. Microdosing A microdose is a small dose of a psychedelic drug like LSD, often one-tenth of a normal dose. It’s sometimes used to help treat symptoms of anxiety and depression, but it’s not meant to completely encompass your day. However, little is known about the long-term effects of this practice. This article goes over how nature can help us achieve our goal set forth by the paris climate agreement, which is to limit global temperature rise to less than 2 degrees celcius. If we are smart and careful we can use nature as our ally to help fight climate change. However if we are not so smart nature could hinder our fight with rising global temperatures and contribute ultimately to natures desctruction.

PBS was educational content for many low income families. It was a pleasure to have them be a part of my Saturday morning TV growing up. How does he even determine if something is biased and partisan?

States are getting hit hard and then being told to handle it themselves, without even clear rules? That’s not how disaster relief is supposed to work.

This is so sad. The point of FEMA is to help communities in need, especially those affected by disasters like these.

This is a super interesting article, actually. I have heard from a few people that some mystery illness took them out in January/February of 2020, they're convinced they were one of the first to get it. Of course, this would come as a major surprise, especially to those who claim it leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

The strength of running water is amazing, it enforces the idea that floods and flash floods are dangerous.

This is so sad, I can't imagine being stuck in a flash flood and ambulance not being able to help. It must of been so devastating for everyone to experience.

Coral bleaching has been a problem but i was surprised that 84% of the worlds coral reefs have experienced bleaching! It’s scary to think we might lose reefs forever because of rising ocean temperatures

This is great news and speaks to the resilience of local wildlife after a disaster. I'm glad that the ecosystem is already showing signs of recovery.

This is not good as we use weather apps every day, whether in the city or in the countryside, we all depend on knowing accurate weather reports.

This is a cool invention and good on the European Space Agency for putting this project forward...it will be interesting to see the images and results which would be telling of climate change and deforestation taking place around the globe.

This administration has made their biases and attacks on education very clear. It's frustrating that this research has also become a target because of who initially funded it. This retaliatory behavior and attempts to limit scientific research is extremely childish and potentially dangerous.

I don't really know a lot about geoengineering projects and it's cool to learn about it from this article. It is interesting to learn how we might be able to shoot aerosols into the air to reflect light back up to space. It is cool to think about how this can help but it is scary to think about the scary effects that it can cause like acid rain lol.

Wow, I had no idea that flames spanning 12,000 acres were a problem in New Jersey. Even in areas you wouldn't often consider to be fire-prone.

Stories like this make it all the more frustrating that the average person is often pressured to make "green" choices as if we were the main source of climate damages. While choosing more sustainable options (reusable items, public transportation, etc.) can help, real change must target fossil fuel companies at the top rather than individual consumers at the bottom.

While this is an astounding dollar amount of damage influcted by these companies, in some ways the affect of these damages and irreparable and in alot of ways priceless. For example the species unnaturally pushed to extinction and invasive species being able to flourish in irregular habitats

It would be interesting to see these giants have to pay for the damage they've caused. I think that would be true environmental justice. Do you think we'll see it happen in our lifetime?

It's interesting seeing the various technologies that being made to fight against climate change. I hope that they can perfect this technology. Reading the article, I see that they face some challenges.
