The flour and bread crisis is deepening in the southern Gaza Strip, where Israel's attacks continue. Due to Israel's blockade on food supplies, including flour, most bakeries in Khan Younis have shut down.

Lebanon’s minister of industry on Friday issued an order barring factories from producing certain goods using state-subsidised flour.
The decision, first reported by Lebanon’s National News Agency, will only allow bakeries that produce the pocketed flatbread known as “pita” or “Arabic bread” — a staple food item in the majority of Lebanese households — to purchase subsidised flour.

Egypt's Ministry of Trade and Industry has issued a decree suspending the export of gravel and mixed beans, lentils, wheat, flour of all kinds, and pasta for three months from 11 March, according to a copy of the document obtained by the Masrawy news portal.
