Inazuma Café introduced you Garry Laurence of Spirit of the Sixties Motorcycles few days ago. This is his forth build marked SOTS.: a wonderful Hinkley Triton. It features a modern Bonnie engine into a Featherbed frame: "Café racers love them or hate them, but you can’t ignore them - Garry says - Personally having built more than enough over the years, I would say I much prefer them to standard machines as they are as individual as snow flakes no two are the same. Looking at standard machines as they say, seen one and you have seen them all. Now you can spend hours looking at a line of Café racers and talking to the owners you get a real feel for the enthusiasm and esteem these machines are held in”…

When I first saw this bike, I have been wondering for quite a bit what kind of custom build it was. So I started a small web research. It took me a while before discovering the story of Roman Zigerman Kapustin, 32 yo, from Vologda. In 2007, he decided to put together the wreck of an old IZH350 with a Yamaha 400 Diversion engine that he had available in his garage. After two years of work, this is the result...

"Madunassa" is the name given to this bike by its builders Marco and Phonz and it's an expression in Northern Italian slang which cannot be properly translated into English... However, with a certain approximation, The meaning is, more or less, "Oh my God", which is -at the end of the day- what you feel like saying when you see this excellent dark Dominator 650cc, the last born in Anvil Motociclette. It has been shown for the very first time at Gran Ferro last spring, and shot by Inazuma Cafe for its readers.

Jose lives in North County San Diego, he is an artist/illustrator with a distinctive style that has spanned multiple outlets in films, games, books, animations, galleries, and advertising. Emroca's paintings about riding capture the more moody side of riding, but at the same time energetic, comical and playful.

Jon is a designer and lives in west London. His artworks can be seen on his blog Soulcraftcandy. He says about himself: "I’m a keen biker, have been for years. There’s something about it I love. The sense of freedom, speed and adventure are the most obvious reasons but there’s more to it than that. I love the way they look, work and can be made to be such potent symbols of personality. I’m forever tinkering with mine, especially now that I’ve enjoyed my first experience of creating my own customised machine. I even enjoy the more mundane aspects of machine maintenance, it appeals to my inner craftsman knowing that I got something just right.
