Custom built from scratch by Alessandro Plasmacustom Rorato in Ponte di PIave (not far from Venice), this bike was designed just to ride drag races over a distance of 200 metres. It features a 903 OHV Fiat Uno Engine, custom supercharged, on a bespoke frame that seems to come from a small block Motoguzzi. The handmade exhausts look a sculpture themselves... The word "refinishing" is not applicable to this item...

The modern classic conversion of the old beemers from the 70's and the 80's has become a standard, generally appreciated and too often replicated. Several non-enthusiasts believe that BMW has re-introduced a modern series of their classic beemers and sell them through their dealers' network... Well, it's almost like that, since the changes to the old beemers are now so standardized that there is an infectious number of workshops able to offer them... So, if you really cannot manage to resist the temptation to follow the fashion and homologate yourself to the standard of the mass production of one-off pieces .. Well, at least choose carefully. A couple of hours ride from each other, not far from Frankfurt, Walzwerk and Sport Evolution propose - among others - these R80 monolever, virtually brand new, but that with additional expense you can really say factory new, also available with engines bored to 1000cc... And they are sold with warranty and TUV approval.
