Called the Rinky Dink Piano, this is a combination jewelry box and music box -- and so much more!
This Roaring 1920s Re-do comes straight out of the 1950s and is the kitschy mish-mosh you'd expect from a made in Japan piece.
Made to look like an old player piano, and plastered with sayings from back in the 1920s, this vintage jewelry box also features a very 1950s little blonde girl in a pink outfit -- dancing to her own hi-fi -- on the sides. A mix of what the kids were saying back in the 20s ("23 skidoo," "Hotcha." and "Vo-do-dee-o-do") and what the kids were wearing in the 50s, along with some liberal Japanese interpretations. (Oh, and a dose of what mom's waxed romantically nostalgic over too -- the music box plays "Beautiful Dreamer.")
