Research suggests that King Richard III probably had blond hair and blue eyes, and new information about the line of descent poses interesting speculative questions over succession .

Researchers from the University of Leicester have analysed all available evidence, including DNA of living relatives of Richard III, and concluded that the skeleton found in 2011 was 99.999% certain to be that of the King.
