Socrative is an app where students respond using different divices within their classroom with a series of educational exercises and games. Socrative works on tablets, smartphones, and laptops. Teachers control the learning experience by logging in through their devices and selecting an activity which controls the flow of questions and games. Students login and respond to the activities which could include multiple choice, true/false and short answer response questions (Socrative, 2013).

What a great idea! We use text readers that have similar functionality, but to have this app live in your browser all the time makes it that much more accessible.

This is a very simple to use web based voting tool. Great way to get instant feedback during lessons or training sessions. It doesn't require any registration and can be set up on the fly in just a few minutes

The voting 'eggs' in the suitcase, where each needed to be programmed, are obsolete. Students and teachers can use their web devices to quickly set up polls and other interactive feedback quickly and easily with web based options, of which this is one of the simplest. For iPad users, check out NearPod, Socrative, or Doceri, each with its own feature ist, to see which works best for you! It can be difficult to move from traditonal modes of presentation to building interaction into instruction, but I am trying to plan future PD courses using this type of technology. I would love feedback from teachers and professional development specialists about what works, pitfalls to look out for, and any other resources that you may suggest.

This looks like a great free app for creating your own short movies and movie projects collaboratively. You can grab scripts and then assign different roles to friends through facebook and each adds their part. Looks like great fun. The catch is that you have to register through facebook.

I just tried this quickly and it looks like a really excellent resource. You start be taking a vocabulary test to define your level and then choose from a range of texts which should help you to develop the vocabulary you lack. Will be reviewing this one very soon.

I'm Remy and I work at the company that invented and developed Knowble. We think it's great that so many of you appreciate Knowble and making the effort to give feedback.
To date we haven't found a proper method to make phrasal verbs work properly. We do consider adding phrasal verbs, but the sheer endless combinations of verbs, context and meaning make this a very though nut to crack. Also; Knowble is designed as a supplementary learners aid instead of an alternative language course. That's why we focus on what Knowble does best; improving vocabulary by reading news articles. This free version of Knowble offers a rudimentary pre-test. We have developed specific versions with better pre-tests for our clients, such as publishers. These versions also include target word lists, specific resources and translations from dictionaries (instead of Google translation used in the free version). In the paid version of Knowble teachers can also view the progress of individual students. Still, we hope that our free version of Knowble will continue to help people improve their English in a pleasant way. Keep your feedback coming!

At http://www.learnclick.com it is very simple to create quizzes. For gap-filling exercises (so-called cloze tests) you just mark the words with your mouse. Learnclick.com also lets you generate drag & drop, drop down and matching exercises. You can insert images, video and sound into your quizzes. Share the quizzes with your students and view detailed statistics on how well your students performed. It is the ideal tool for language teachers.

Learnclick is a really useful site for teachers. I reviewed it back in 2012 (http://www.quickshout.blogspot.co.uk/2012/03/create-interactive-cloze-texts.html), but they have been quite a lot of work since then, so well worth revisiting.

I have to say that I think Spezify has just become my favourite new search engine. I think this is a really great search engine to use in class with students or to get them to use. It's really simple. It displays all results as images and it searches a wide range of multiple media sources such as video, image Twitter etc, not only text.

When learning English it's important that you hear as many different accents and types of voices from different ages of speaker so that you are able to understand English wherever you go.
