You know after seeing “The Wolf Of Wall Street”, the button downs on WallStreet are acting like their mistress {Hollywood) just did a tell all to TMZ (like everyone else in America who has a sense of financial acumen, didn’t knowabout th already).
The movie was great but in any great story or industry you have your heroes, villains and the extras ( funny, it’s the extras who crying that the movie has exaggerated just a bit. Hmmm maybe the fun and games were above the extras pay grade.). I mean what cook in the kitchen at a restaurant knows that the owner’s cooking the books (unless the owner and cook are best friends). Hey Extras, you didn’t know because it wasn’t known of your business to know.
Money and profits create strange bedfellows (believe me, this movie shows that and I know this first hand). Profits and taxes have created an environment that the sales force for many companies become the driving factors in a company and for them to be well compensated, well let’s just say that the company might get a little creative. This creativity feeds the drug that’s mentioned in the above caption. More money (no matter how you get it) pushes you to the front of the opportunity line. To feed this appetite to win and have more power, people do things that might be out of their character to sustain this monsters (money”s) appetite.
So as with any Drug, make sure the drug is being used to cure something as opposed to being a quick fix.
