About two years ago, I built a big 120 face LED geodesic dome that plays music with a MIDI output. However, it was a difficult build and the sensors weren't completely reliable. I decided to build the Bucky Touch, a smaller version of my geodesic dome that is easier to construct and has upgraded capacitive touch sensors. The Bucky Touch is designed with both a MIDI and audio output, so you can either use a MIDI device (e.g. a computer or MIDI keyboard) to play the Bucky Touch OR you can directly hook up the Bucky Touch to an amplifier and speaker.

In the lab, one often needs a repetitive signal of a certain frequency, shape and amplitude. It may be to test an amplifier, check out a circuit, a component or an actuator. Powerful waveform generators are available commercially, but it is relatively easily to make a useful one yourself with an Arduino Uno or Arduino Nano

We decided to make matching side tables with a fabric magazine holder because it was something simple enough to make in a couple days and it just sounded like such a cute idea.
This project is super simple to make and only requires one 8' 2x2 and 24" of a 1x12. We were already making two of these tables, so we bought 1x12x4 for the tops and just cut it in half.

This has been by far one of my favorite projects to work on and so i'd like to share with you my process for making these inspired speakers!
The nautilus represents the very top of perfect audio in terms of sound and beautiful aesthetic and although I could never really compete with the original, here is my own take on it!

I built this modern outdoor dining table out of Ipe 3x3s. Ipe is one of the most difficult woods I've worked with, it's insanely heavy and dense. I also built this pergola kit from TOJA GRID.

Welcome back to creativity buzz.
Here I make LED drawing copy pad for all students.
For this, you need 15 LEDs and acrylic sheet. You only need to stick acrylic sheet and place LED panel inside this.

I was visiting my little nephew a while back and he was playing with a plastic Gordian Knot. I thought, "wouldn't it be cool to make a wooden one!" So the wooden Gordian Knot was born. Try making your own!

In my previous tutorial, I showed you how to built and 24x6 LED Matrix,
But the only problem with that was we have to upload entire new programme to change the message on the display which can be solved very easily by utilizing an HC - 05 module. So today I will show you how you can make a Bluetooth controlled led matrix.

This is a wine barrel I turned into a wardrobe, but when making this you can use and turn the inside into whatever you want. Have fun with your creativity. I had a good time making this. I think it turned out really great.

As part of my quest to become an aerospace engineer, I am learning to work with metal. My first step has been learning to weld. As part of this process, I am also sort of reviewing inexpensive welders. In a previous Instructable, I reviewed the 90 Amp flux-core Harbor Freight welder . I was able to get acceptable welds out of it after a great deal of practice, but only on a limited set of materials (mild steel) and a very limited thickness of material.

In this instructable, I am going to show you how to make an Alienware headphone stand with RGB LED inside it. So this is definitely not a new idea, couple years back I made this stand with simple Power Tools but at that time I didn't record the build video that's why I decided to make Mark II of Alienware headphones stand and in this build I not only made this stand but make a couple of changes by knowing the problems occur in the last build.

This Instructable will walk you through the process on making a tabletop with breadboard ends. The table I'm making here is a conference table but it can be scaled up or down to suit your specific needs. This table top is 10’ long, 3’ wide and made up of 1 ½” thick red oak. Needless to say, at the end of this built, it was extremely heavy. I buy all my lumber rough sawn and usually mill it myself, but in this case I had the lumberyard S3S these boards for me simply because their equipment can do it much faster than mine can.

This privacy fence is made with corrugated roofing panels, some 2x4s and pressure treated posts. I wanted to create a rather modern looking fence that provided an interesting look while blocking the view of my neighbors. This is not a fence that goes onto my property line, so I decided to make it as tall as possible, to create an interesting backdrop for a hangout space. Make sure to check out the full build video for a much better perspective of the build process and the final result!

Ever looked at a set of Thermal Receipt Printer Guts from Adafruit but wondered what useful thing can I make with this? Well look no further: timePrntr is a digital/analog word clock that prints the current date and time at the push of a button and regular intervals. It is simple to wire, no problem to build, and easy to program. You'll never have to wonder what time it was again with a semi-continuous printed record of the passage of time!

When it comes to building the battery packs, Li-ion cells are one of the best choices without the doubt. But if you get them from old laptop batteries then you might want to do a capacity test before building the battery pack. So today I will show you how to make a Li-ion capacity tester using an Arduino.

Recently, I decided to join my love for funky music with my interest in electronics and build a talkbox of my own. Usually, when I build things I do it just for fun, however, by making your own talkbox you can actually save some money. Buying a talkbox costs around 200-400 EUR, while I spent about 60 EUR for my project.

This project describes the first part of the following two projects:
- A wireless doorbell transmitter as described in this Instructable - A wireless doorbell receiver to be described in the Wireless Doorbell Receiver Instructable When I am sitting in the backyard of my house I cannot hear it when somebody is ringing the doorbell at the front door. This problem can, of course, be solved by purchasing a wireless doorbell but it is more fun to build it yourself. Next to that I sometimes here of interference problems with other wireless doorbells so the more reason to make one of your own.

When the Raspberry Pi first got released I was swept up in the hype of buying one, but in the end I spent more time with the Arduino as they are more suited to electronics projects. I have two Original Raspberry Pi's in the shed, and I thought it was about time I did something with them. So in this instructable I will show you how to "stress" test your Pi's CPU to help you determine how much cooling you need and how much you might be able to overclock it.

Inspired by a couple of Reddit posts, this recreation of a photo of our old dog is a gift I made for my wife's latest birthday. Lying at the clichéd intersection of "A picture's worth a 1000 words." and "It's the thought that counts.", this project requires a pretty intensive effort but the results are quite striking and are sure to be unique, whether on your wall or another's.
