We are so used to using acronyms in our daily lives, that we perhaps sometimes miss some quite interesting free form associations they might imply. Consider, for example, the In Body Image Stabilization system for digital cameras, also known as I.B.I.S.

Is it the same thing to be a 30 YO in France, Ethiopia, Vietnam, Peru or Australia? What are the SIMILARITIES in our generation? How do nationality, culture, living environment … DEFINE OUR OWN IDENTITY? How DO WE LIVE as a 30-YO? What is our daily life made of? What are our values and interests? How DO WE ANALYSE our past? What are the major striking events in our lives and in our societies? What VISION do we have of THE FUTURE: What are our hopes and our fears?

Samyang 7.5mm F3.5 fisheye is a sharp full frame (180 degree diagonal angle of view), originally made for Micro Four Thirds (M43) system. It requires 5-6 shots to complete a spherical panorama. It is found that when adapted to a SONY camera with a APS-C (larger) sensor, it will give a 180 degree coverage. Only 4 shots are necessary to complete a spherical panorama. It is very small and light-weight. Together with a matching pano head, it is the ideal portable set up for making quick spherical panorama in 4 shots. Due to small differences in flange distances between Micro Four Thirds format and Sony cameras, a NODAL NINJA adapter is ideal to complete conversion towards Sony E-Mount.

Ever since I announced the sale of all of my Canon DSLR equipment and decided to move to an all-Olympus setup, I've received a lot of questions and even some objections from other photographers too. Today I'm going to answer / tackle some of these Q&A style.
Before we begin...
Firstly: I'm not endorsed or sponsored by Olympus. I just really love their cameras and lenses and believe in what they're doing. Our choice of cameras have to be suitable for our needs and I personally think that t

I can be a mighty stubborn guy. You see, I have this very clear conception of the X Series cameras, one that’s severely tainted by my initial experiences with the original X100 and the reasons why I first became interested. Sometimes when I’m in a rut or feel myself wavering creatively, I’ll go back and watch the insane japanese commercial I've embedded next to this paragraph.
Yes it’s raw and yes, it’s dark and mildly disturbing… But it encapsulates a certain ethos I’ve come to associate

I got lucky..! A new camera and a fine foggy morning. Always a good start to test whether the new camera will fit my needs. I decided to visit the estate Zegenwerp. Zegenwerp is definitely one of my favorite places to photograph.. whatever the season these long beach trees -which are over 100 years old- always look great. It's a magnificent place and just a few hundred metres from where I live.
This was one of the first days out with my new camera, the Sony a7, and I'm happy how the Sony
