I know… many of you are impatiently waiting for X-T2 rumors.
I can understand and share your excitement. But if you take a look at the X-Pro2, you’ll already have a pretty accurate idea about the X-T2, starting from the most important aspect: Image Quality.
Sure, there are still some specs you’d like to have confirmed, like the joystick, the dual SD-card slot and, why not, maybe a touch screen. I hope that our sources will soon share the answer to these and other questions, and FR is working on this (and more) behind the scenes.

It’s four years since Fujifilm kicked off its X-Series range of mirrorless cameras at CES 2012 with the X-Pro1, and it’s hard to believe that we haven’t seen a new version of that camera since. Although Fujifilm has provided multiple firmware updates, and the camera has attained as close to classic status as any digital body can do these days, it’s very long in the tooth at this point. But the wait is over: today Fujifilm is announcing the X-Pro2, which goes straight to the top of the X-Series line.
The DSLR-style X-T1 is what got a lot of people to notice Fujifilm’s cameras, but the X-Pro2 returns to the series’ rangefinder-influenced roots. It features an updated hybrid optical and electronic viewfinder, as seen on its predecessor and the X100 range; like the X100T, you can overlay a little live view screen at the bottom corner of the optical view to confirm focus and exposure, and this time you can see the whole frame as well as just a zoomed-in portion. Correcting a strange omission from the X-Pro1, the X-Pro2 has a diopter adjustment dial to help bring the viewfinder into clear focus.

Today’s tutorial is a bit different than our typical home decor projects, but I thought it would be a fun one to share! I was getting ready to make some new wood photo boards that I use as a backdrop for my food photography and decided to write a quick tutorial so I could show you how I make them. Whether you’re a blogger, professional photographer, or just enjoy taking everyday photos at home, these boards are a wonderful thing to have on hand.

To support my photography endeavours I have been also shooting weddings for several years. It has always been a very enjoyable experience and to a big extend I have been always treating it in a very similar way as my fine art photography. I always strive to produce the most beautiful images, search for light, for mood. My clients have always appreciated this approach. But there have always been one thing that was really disturbing me: the pain in the neck (no pun intended). Carrying two (or sometimes three) camera bodies for several hours has never been the most pleasant experience. Fortunately things changed very recently – I discovered the Premium Leather Multicamera “74street” Strap offered by AF Shoot.

Photography quotes are cool because of three reasons. Number one is they sound good, to us who know what they're about anyway. Number two is that you know they're words of wisdom because people don't tend to quote other anonymous people who aren't particularly good at something. In other words, they are words who belong to some of the best photographers ever. Reason number three is that they inspire, and sometimes they can pull you out of creative ruts when you list expect it.

Don’t blame me guys… I just report what others say about the X-Pro2 (the good and the bad)… and in this case it’s the well known and respected review site admiringlight. Of course you are free to choose whom you trust or not. That said, admiringlight has, IMHO, shown in all these years that they really know their craft.
And now let’s talk about high-ISO!

2016 will mark the fourth year that the Fujifilm X Pro 1 will be current in the company’s X series lineup of cameras; and according to Photo Rumors, Photography Bay is saying that at CES 2016, we’re going to see the brand new X Pro 1 successor: which is said to be called the Fujifilm X Pro 2. It’s bound to have upgrades to the sensor, autofocus algorithms, weather sealing, more Fujifilm film renderings (the Instant film renderings of 3000B and 100C would be nice) and we may totally see Fujifilm do away with the optical viewfinder unless they take the route that they did with the Fujifilm X100T.

IF YOU’RE LIKE most people on Instagram, you’ll scroll through all 22 filters, carefully consider the nuances of Inkwell vs. Lo-Fi vs. Hudson, and then settle on one of the filters you always use. Oh sure, there are so many filters, but you always go back to your favorites “just because.”
Turns out it isn’t “just because.” There are some specific reasons you rely upon your old faithfuls, and a growing body of science examining how and why people choose filters and how those choices influence others’ reactions to the photo. According to a study out of Yahoo Labs, researchers looked at 7.6 million Flickr photos (many of which originated on Instagram and were uploaded to Flickr) and found “filtered photos are 21 percent more likely to be viewed and 45 percent more likely to be commented on.”
