A camera that makes you want to shoot again instead of feeling like you are clocking into work is rare. The Fujifilm X half is one of those small, odd-looking tools that quietly changes how you think about carrying a camera in daily life.

The Sony ZV-1F is a compact camera aimed at vloggers and video creators. It forgoes some of the features found on Sony's more advanced vlogging cameras, but arrives at a price point that should appeal to its target audience.

No system is complete without macro lenses and while Canon has been offering the RF 85mm f/2 STM IS macro early, it isn't really aligned to professional needs at least. In order to serve this market, Canon finally released the Canon RF 100mm f/2.8 L USM IS macro. As professional-grade lenses go, the price for the entry ticket is on the high side at $1400/1500EUR - that's more than double the amount you have to pay for the faster RF 85mm f/2. This raises the question of whether it's really worth it ... so let's find out.

A tiny 14mm prime that costs less than many filters is a tempting way to shake up your everyday kit. When a lens adds strong flare, heavy vignetting, and quirky autofocus, it can change how you approach street work, travel, and casual shooting with your APS-C camera.

Viltrox entered the lens market in 2018, presenting the manual PFU RBMH 20 mm f/1.8 ASPH designed for full frame mirrorless Sony cameras. The following years saw a real shower of launches and, as a result, currently our database features as many as 18 Viltrox lenses. Apart from interesting, often completely unique parameters, Viltrox is one of the first independent optics producers that also offers lenses with autofocus; mind you, they don't limit themselves to the open Sony mount but also include instruments designed for mirrorless Fujifilm X and Nikon Z systems. The Viltrox AF 75 mm f/1.2 is one of such lenses – its parameters are interesting and it is an autofocus design. Apart from that, you can choose from as many as three mounts, Fujifilm X, Nikon Z, and Sony E. What's important, all variants of this lens allow you to use an automatic focusing system.

The Canon RF 28-70mm f/2 USM L was one of the first lenses for the RF-mount cameras. You may also say that it was nothing short but a STATEMENT because it's the world's first full-format standard zoom lens with a constant max aperture of f/2. It supplements the RF 24-70mm f/2.8 USM L IS so Canon users are blessed with two high-speed zoom lenses in this range class. The two lenses are fairly different so each one has its place with the RF 28-70mm f/2 USM L surely being the more exotic choice. Both lenses are expensive, of course, but the RF 28-70mm f/2 USM L is actually relatively affordable ... in the grand scheme of things. As a rule of thumb, the price tends to double per extra full stop but the difference between the two is "merely" 1/3rd although you have to take the slightly reduced range and the lack of an image stabilizer into account here. At $3100/3500EUR, it's still far from what normal mortals tend to spend on a standard zoom lens. However, this lens may just be the right thing for professional users who want the speed of prime lenses while having the flexibility of a zoom lens.
