"Having finally made it to this outpost I really enjoyed this place. Back in Dallas I used to go to one fairly often. What sets this operation apart from other Sports Bars are a couple of important aspects.
One of these reasons is that the beer is cold (29 degrees, often with ice crystals) and that the beers are diverse and very well priced. Beers come in woman size (I presume 12 oz) and Man size looks like 24 ounces. On this particular night I was drinking Lazy Magnolia Southen Pecan. This is a beer which is often $6-7 a pint at most bars I frequent. Here it is $5.75 for a man-size beer. So yes, I like that this bar carried some Micro-Brews. Seems Hooters does not even have one Micro-brew these days.
My second reason is that the food is very good. It is Texas fare and it is fresh. I think the food here blows Taco Mac, Hudson and maybe even Arena away. On this particular trip I had the Green Chile Meatloaf. It was awesome with a nice little kick to it. Back in Texas I used to get the Chicken Fried Steak and as Daniel B. mentioned, it is HUGE and yummy!
My 3rd reason is the ambiance, many cute girls, and friendly service. The large flat screen TVs are everywhere in this location. Both upstairs and downstairs have ample long bars. Trust me, if you have not been, be sure to try this spot"
