Some good reflections by Deepak Chopra.
Often we think of happiness as a destination, a place to get to. It's the journey and being in the present in this journey. As every there becomes a here. There exists in my imagination. As some say it's the only nation many pledge allegiance to. If things are going to be better tomorrow it also means they are good today.
Letting go and falling away are interesting concepts. To Charlie Brown's question may be another question: Is happiness a series of incidents that allow me to see how present I am in dealing with each one. Maybe best to look at happiness as a practice.
I am taking an improv class to go along with the idea that my life is one continual Improv. In Improv you always say yes and look for the better in the good that is always in front of oneself. Like the world being on the backs of turtles all the way down. My life is choices, all the way down. The one that wins is the one I feed. ozzie Mindfulness.com
