Meditating is one of the most beneficial strategies for reducing anxiety. Personally, I used to be haunted by the thought of meditation, it seemed like such a huge and difficult thing to do. But it all starts in rhythmic breathing, slowing down your anxious thoughts, and grounding yourself to be present. Walking and meditation go hand in hand. Walking is grounding in itself, and taking in your surroundings helps you forget where you mind is going. Practicing breathing while being in the fresh air is as mindful as it can get.
