Public Meeting - Stop G4S in our Schools!

G4S are known to the public because of their fiasco over the Olympics, however, did you know they also profit from providing security systems to Israeli prisons which house child prisoners and other abuses of human rights? G4S recently lost its contract with the UK Border Agency after a number of deaths and record complaints.

G4S provide caretaking services including security to five Leicester schools, despite concerns. Now G4S want to provide services to more of Leicester’s schools!

Come to the public meeting to find out more and learn how we can Stop G4S.

When? Tuesday 25th September at 7.30pm

Where? Secular Hall, 75 Humberstone Gate, Leicester (opposite Sainsbury’s)

Speakers: Tom Anderson (Corporate Watch), John Snowdon (Palestine Solidarity Campaign) and Lamek Mbano (Leicester Civil Rights Movement). Chaired by Iris Lightfoote (Vice Chair Leicester Civil Rights Movement and Head of the Racial Equality Centre).

This campaign is supported by Leicester branches of the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Civil Rights Movement, Amnesty International and Friends of Al-Aqsa.
