PRESENTATION DESIGN. 7 important tips & tricks about making presentation. There is a lot of bad preppared presentations, especially on universities, among both students and proffesors. It's important to pay attention to graphic and content side of our presantation. It can't be "wall of text".

Many conventional MOOCs are developed and designed for Western teaching and learning experiences, says Auh, the lead project designer for MOOC 2.0. “But the general consensus here [among those working on MOOC 2.0] is that MOOCs education must be a collective effort from all parts of the world.”

What is important, according to Auh, is that to avoid a “type of neo-colonialism”, receiving countries must collaborate in devising the MOOCs their students will study.

“The stance of MOOC 2.0 is higher education should find ways to address the needs of those at the bottom of the pyramid while being sensitive to their culture,” Auh told University World News.

Es informal y permanente dadas las características de ubicuidad y los entornos donde se lleva a cabo.
Es personalizado, dado que se adapta a las necesidades de cada estudiante.
Es espontáneo, ya que el estudiante puede acceder a la información justo en el momento en el que la necesita.
El aprendizaje es situado y auténtico, dado que tiene lugar en contextos reales.

1) Online learning is here to stay.

2) There is no significant difference in learning outcomes.

3) Online learning is widespread.

4) There is no single form of online learning.

5) MOOCs are not an example of high-quality online learning.

6) Online learning is well-suited to adult learners, but not necessarily traditional-aged students.

7) “Institutional” cost savings from going online are less than is often acknowledged.

8) Online learning could soon become the norm for “post-traditional” and graduate students who cannot afford the opportunity cost of traditional programs.

I'm rescooping this for three reasons. First, the term "curation" is fairly new to me and it is nice to see how different forms it can take. Secondly, I read so many blogposts entitled "10 tools for this" or "35 reasons for that". It is nice too see one of those where all of the 6 tools are actually great. Third, the fact that I actually have experience with three of the six tools makes me feel good. So enjoy :)

More natural way for managing related notes like to-do lists or project tasks. Lists are set of tags that act as filters. By drag notes across lists notes will change their tags accordingly.

In 2012, Stanford president John Hennessy pronounced that the MOOC was going to be “transformative to education.” But, he added, “We don’t really understand how yet.” Two years later, the landscape remains much the same:MOOCs are a technology with potentially revolutionary implications for education, but without a precise plan for realizing that potential. One way of getting there could be for the leaders of the MOOC movement to look more closely at old methods, from when education was less massive, less open, and entirely offline.

You can add unlimited number of authors to your webquest. Just make sure to add only trusted people.
You can be an added author as many webquests as needed. They will not count to your limit of webquests you can create with your free account.
You can change the order of the authors any way you'd like (who goes first, who comes next on the list).
All author's names will be listed on the about authors page automatically.
A user can only change his/her profile information with his/her own account. Admins cannot change profiles for their subauthors.
