Digital citizenship refers to responsible technology usage, and teaching digital citizenship is essential to helping students achieve and understand digital literacy, as well as ensuring cyberbully prevention, online safety, digital responsibility, and digital health & wellness.

This article formally defines digital citizenship as as “the quality of an individual’s response to membership in a community.” I don't agree with this definition. I believe digital citizenship revolves around the digital health and wellness of our students, how to safely post on social media or surf the web. In my opinion this does not clearly define digital citizenship. Yes we are a part of a digital community but this definition does not give a clear difinition.
