Cannabis is a Schedule I drug in the United States. That means the government has designated the plant as having no accepted medical use and a high potential for abuse.
No accepted medical use? There are scores of studies that say differently.
Rick Simpson is a medical marijuana activist, and he has been on a crusade of healing. He considers Cannabis to be the most medicinally active plant that humans can use on this planet.
Marijuana has been shown in some cases to effectively treat numerous types of cancer, improve immunity, and fight anxiety and pain.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
So marijuana has been shown without doubt to cure a number of cancers ... and we're still using chemotherapy? Scandalous!
With all this data available, you'd think the makers of aspirin and ibuprofen would be touting anti-cancer benefits of their products (which they can legally do, given the extensive nature of the scientific evidence), and you'd think the Food and Drug Administration, the Centers for Disease Control, and other agencies charged with promoting public health would be quick to spread the word. Not so, however. There's too much money to be made treating cancer, after it takes root. For example, Pfizer subsidiary Wyeth Pharmaceuticals (makers of Advil) also sells the anti-cancer drug Torisel, which, at $76,000 per gram is several times more expensive than plutonium. Likewise, Bayer makes anti-cancer drug Nexavar, which costs $69,000 for a year of treatment. With these and other exorbitantly priced drugs at risk, there is no incentive for the Bayers or Pfizers of the world to undercut future profits by telling people about the anti-cancer benefits of cheap over-the-counter NSAIDs.
For many people, it’s unthinkable that scientists would say a given virus is causing many people to fall ill—and yet that virus had never really been isolated and identified—but who knows what you find out when you go down the rabbit hole?
Let’s consider HIV, the purported cause of AIDS. Independent reporter Christine Johnson conducted a magnificent and shocking rabbit-hole interview with Dr. Eleni Papadopulos, “a biophysicist and leader of a group of HIV/AIDS scientists from Perth in Western Australia. Over the past decade and more she and her colleagues have published many scientific papers questioning the HIV/AIDS hypothesis…” The interview was titled: Does HIV Exist?
I’ll highlight part of the exchange, because it’s so telling and instructive. Keep in mind that what Eleni Papadopulos is saying about HIV could apply to any virus — including zika.
The interview takes up a few complex procedures, but if you read through it several times, you should be able to sort out the key points...
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
There is more to virus research than meets the eye. Jon Rappoport tells the inside story.
We often hear that correlation is not causation, so why are world renowned scientists treating the Zika virus as the sole cause of microcephaly in Brazil when there are so many other factors?
This article was originally published at TheEpochTimes.com and republished with permission. Original posting Here.
Since the virus Zika was blamed for a cluster of cases in northeastern Brazil of the devastating birth defect microcephaly, the mainstream media have been dominated by fear of a Zika pandemic. Meanwhile, the real culprit(s) behind the surge in microcephaly in that corner of Brazil have been ignored, with the exception of a few scientists, and even fewer journalists...
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
"Instead of announcing the Zika pandemic, the three international health agencies should have launched a CSI-type investigation in that quarter of Brazil examining all of the environmental triggers and toxins that might be contributing to the surge in microcephaly.
An invitation to join us in shared bid for a 100 Million Dollars to fix health and social care
The MacArthur Foundation has decided to deliver a mighty push to fixing the world’s most hairy, entangled, unfixable problems. The idea is to look hard for a promising organisation, one that has the tenacity and creativity to provide a real solution to a problem (almost any problem is eligible). They will provide the resources: a whopping 100 million dollars.
We have been thinking hard about the problem of providing high-quality, affordable health and social care to all. We think we have a candidate solution: provision of care services by communities equipped with open source knowledge and technology. From where we stand, these communities deliver services that are based on modern science (like those provided by the state and the private sector), yet they retain low overhead and human touch (like those provided by traditional communities).
So, here’s what we want to do. We want to apply for the 100 million dollar grant, with this solution. But not alone. We volunteer to coordinate a “decentralized application”, with hundreds of communities, and organizations large and small, a swarm of solution providers working on a cloud of problems related to the provision of health and social care.
We think we will win. Why? Because decentralization is, simply, a superior approach.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
An interesting initiative to change health and social care into a decentralised setting... may be interesting for the natural health community?
Almost overnight, measles went from being characterized as a natural rite of passage necessary for strengthening immunity to a deadly infection against which we have only one hope against complete destruction: 100% vaccine uptake.
The truth is that measles and other childhood infections may actually protect against life-threatening conditions like cancer and heart disease...
Because Max is an adolescent, several Nannies nested in the European Parliament don’t want Max to know that the caffeine in the Red Bull drinks marketed by his boss improves concentration, increases alertness, and contributes to an increase in endurance performance and endurance capacity.
These effects of caffeine have been common knowledge since man began drinking coffee, but it was only until the European Food Safety Authority’s approval of this traditional knowledge that European legislators decided to authorize it for use as “health claims” on food-products containing caffeine.
Most people add sugar to their coffee, to their tea, to their hot-chocolate. So do manufacturers of “energy” drinks containing caffeine.
According to Max’s boss, his particular drink “gives you wings.” Not the wings that keep Max’s red bull glued to the race-track, but the kind of wings that Italians experience after taking a sweet “ristretto.” But, according to the Nannies in EU’s Parliament, because the highest prevalence of consumption of wings-drinks has been observed in the adolescent consumer group, Max is not to know...
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
European bureaucrats, in their infinite wisdom, try to protect us from ... information. They have practically prohibited informative labelling of food and drink.
Recently, scientist have discovered a new crystal formation in the pineal gland, which is purported to resonate with our EM environment and specifically cellular technology. This discovery provides a new understanding of the pineal gland and how we interface with our EM environment.
"The pineal gland is a neuroendocrine transducer secreting melatonin, responsible for the physiological circadian rhythm control. A new form of biomineralization has been studied in the human pineal gland. It consists of small crystals that are less than 20 µm in length. These crystals could be responsible for an electromechanical biological transduction mechanism in the pineal gland due to their structure and piezoelectric properties..."
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
The myth of the safety of em waves and specifically mobile phone radiation, in the absence of thermal effects, is about to crumble... the pineal gland may react to the em environment through ferromagnetic crystal sensors...
The Zika-microcephaly connection is scientific nonsense. Let me run it down for you.
My analysis is beyond, “But Expert A says…” I am not dealing in appeals to authority, but instead the standards of evidence anyone can see if he opens his eyes.
First of all, the latest figures out of Brazil, the so-called epicenter of the microcephaly tragedy, reveal the following: 854 confirmed cases of microcephaly; and of those, 97 cases show the presence of the Zika virus.
Inference? Zika is not the cause of microcephaly. If it were, researchers would be able to detect it in all, or the overwhelming percentage of, microcephaly cases.
I’m not making this up. There are standards of proof and evidence. They dictate which inferences are possible, and which are not. 97 out 854 is a dud. Back to the drawing board. 757 microcephaly cases show no trace of Zika.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
The Zika virus is still being promoted as a potential epidemic's cause. According to the figures, it just isn't.
Ian Phillips, from Cardiff, spent his last months warning about the risks of long exposure to radiation from mobiles. He said his job had led to him spending 100 hours a month making calls.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
We would all do well to limit our use of mobile phones as much as we possibly can.
sometimes treatments harm...every operation and procedure has the potential to be perceived as a trauma and death sentence... (((He said: 'They gave me three years to live but I will prove them wrong time and again.
'The tumour has shrunk to nothing once but it's back now and I'm having chemo again.
'But I am convinced that it will disappear again before my current course of chemotherapy is complete.'
https://salonesoterica.wordpress.com/2007/12/01/why-75-of-doctors-would-refuse-chemothrerapy-on-themselves/ This is what many doctors and scientists have to say about chemotherapy:“The majority of the cancer patients in this country die because of chemotherapy, which does not cure breast, colon or lung cancer. This has been documented for over a decade and nevertheless doctors still utilize chemotherapy to fight these tumors.” (Allen Levin, MD, UCSF, “The Healing of Cancer”, Marcus Books, 1990).
Pater and Loeb (181) were among the first to show that perceived fatigue is an independent predictor of QOL and survival in cancer patients. Numerous other studies have followed confirming their results (14, 20, 38, 202). A component of perceived fatigue could be a decline in cognitive function. Evaluation of cognitive impairment involves functionality of multiple domains, which include visuospatial skill, memory, language, and motor function (258).
Over half of patients undergoing chemotherapy exhibit cognitive impairment (109), which is associated with patients perceived fatigue (18). This sense of tiredness can persist from 6 months to 2 years following remission, providing insight into the debilitating, and sometimes long-term side effects of cancer and its treatment (120, 132, 149). http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3176345/
Fluoride is currently added to the water of approximately 60% of the American population. It’s also found in dental products such as toothpaste and floss, fillings, cements, sealants, food and beverages, pesticides, and other products, including pharmaceutical drugs such as Prozac and Cipro.
Fluoride has been controversial for decades, and after years of debate, in 2015, the U.S. government finally recommended lowering levels of fluoride in water.
In spite of this recent change (which many decry as not anywhere near enough), fluoride is still being distributed in vitamins, which is something you can help put an end to since no one else seems to be doing much to stop this illegal practice.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
Fluoride is a nasty poison and it shouldn't be in anything like a multi-vitamin, nor should drinking water be intentionally contaminated with it.
A new analysis shows that more than 250,000 deaths each year are due to these mistakes.
The CDC should update its vital statistics reporting requirements so that physicians must report whether there was any error that led to a preventable death, Makary said.
"We all know how common it is," he said. "We also know how infrequently it’s openly discussed."
"When a plane crashes, we don’t say this is confidential proprietary information the airline company owns. We consider this part of public safety. Hospitals should be held to the same standards," Makary said.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
Death and serious harm by medicine is a big problem ... and much of the data to determine how serious the problem is are buried, never to be reported.
“Our findings indicate that CBD could represent a novel fast antidepressant drug, via enhancing both serotonergic and glutamate cortical signaling through a 5-HT1A receptor-dependent mechanism,” researchers wrote.
Unfortunately, due to the schedule I status of cannabis it has been difficult to do studies on the subject of CBD and depression until recently. However, this could soon change if congress were to pass the CARERS Act, which would successfully remove cannabidiol from the controlled substances act all together, while also rescheduling cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule II – which is something scientists, doctors, and advocates of reform have been hoping to see for years now.
The fact that CBD could be used as an effective treatment for depression – and that it could start helping patients feel better within an hour of starting treatment – is simply incredible in and of itself. There are millions of people suffering from depression in the United States alone – antidepressants can be dangerous, addictive and expensive for life-long treatment...

For years, scientists have known that growing up on a farm protects children from asthma, but the reasons for this weren’t entirely clear.
A fascinating comparative analysis of Amish and Hutterite farming communities has finally uncovered the specific aspects of farm life that are responsible for this built-in immune protection.
In a new study published in the New England Journal of Medicine, researchers from the University of Chicago Medical Center and the University of Arizona have shown that substances found in house dust in Amish homes have a profound impact on the development of the body’s innate immune system in ways that protect children from asthma...

How interesting - exposure to microbes, especially from farm animals, prepares childrens' immune system for life without asthma...
If you can count as successes increased greenhouse gases, ecosystem degradation, rises in hunger and obesity, and unbalanced power in food systems, then industrial agriculture has done one heck of a job.
"We must change the way we set political priorities," De Schutter said. "The steps towards diversified agroecological farming are steps to democratize decision-making and to rebalance power in food systems."
The new publication, presented at the invite-only Trondheim Conference on Biodiversity in Norway, follows a call in November 2015 by United Nations expert Hilal Elver to ditch industrial agriculture.
"There is a need for a major shift from industrial agriculture to transformative systems such as agroecology that support the local food movement, protect small holder farmers, respect human rights, food democracy and cultural traditions, and at the same time maintain environmental sustainability and facilitate a healthy diet," she said at the time.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
Food is much too important for our health to leave its production to an industry which uses poisons, and degrades the very environment in which plants are grown and animals raised.

"Mitochondrial damage is now understood to play a role in a wide range of seemingly unrelated disorders such as schizophrenia, diabetes, Parkinson's disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, and nonalcoholic steatohepatitis. Recently it has become known that iatrogenic (physician or treatment-caused) mitochondrial damage explains many adverse reactions from medications."
"All classes of psychotropic drugs have been documented to damage mitochondria, as have statin medications, analgesics such as acetaminophen, and many others." - John Neustadt, MD and Steven Pieczenik, MD

Medicine, as practiced today with vaccines and an assortment of chemical drugs, is causing much illness by damaging our cells' power generators, the mitochondria...
Over a period of 30 years, highly qualified Perth-based surgeon Dr John Holt has had some startling successes with a radio-wave therapy treatment for cancer patients. However, this radical treatment has polarised the medical community in Australia. His supporters say he's been vilified, while his detractors point out there is no scientific basis for his claims.
Dr Holt's controversial treatment works, in layperson's terms, by giving the patient an injection of a glucose-blocking agent. He then shines "radio waves" into the body at a specific frequency. Dr Holt doesn't guarantee it will cure every cancer, but it's not expensive and there's no quackery about it.
Born in Bristol 80 years ago and a member of the Royal Colleges, Dr Holt has 26 medical letters after his name. For more than a decade he was in charge of Western Australia's main cancer institute, until the late '70s, when he was blacklisted by his medical colleagues and politicians...
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
A rather simple treatment for cancer - perhaps too cheap and easy to be accepted...
What is the ABC trying to hide by taking down the Catalyst wifi report (February 2016) by Dr Maryanne Demasi? Who are they covering for?
In February this year, reporter Maryanne Demasi put together this Catalyst wifi report, entitled “Wi-fried”, highlighting the potential “hidden” dangers of wi-fi.
However, she has now been suspended until September while an “investigation” into the episode is carried out. Evidently “the investigation was initiated after the ABC received complaints from viewers about the episode.”
The “complaints from [unidentifiable] viewers/the public” strategy has been trotted out many times before as a means of autocratic corporate entities suppressing information that might threaten their profit margins (or risk expensive litigation) lest the public catch on.
Who are these alleged “viewers”? They wouldn’t happen to be captains of industry by any chance...
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
Report about WiFi health effects aired in Australia was found to be too revealing and was withdrawn, along with a suspension of the reporter... was industry applying pressure?
Scientists from Columbia University’s Center for Radiological Research have shown that a narrow wavelength of ultraviolet light safely killed drug-resistant MRSA bacteria in mice, suggesting its potential to reduce surgical site infections.
A paper just published by PLOS ONE describes how the Columbia team found that a particular wavelength of UV light known as “far-UVC” (in this instance, 207 nanometers) is not only as effective as conventional germicidal UV light in killing MRSA, as shown in their previously published study, but also shows for the first time that, unlike conventional germicidal UV, far-UVC does not cause biological damage to exposed skin.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
This should ease the pressure on having to use antibiotics for surgery ...
Researchers at Imperial College London recently went to great lengths to obtain psilocybin and use it in clinical tests to investigate its medicinal value for treating severe depression.
It took 32 months for the research team to meet all the licensing requirements to even conduct the trial. They also commented that the price per dose was literally 50 times more than what it should have cost in a "sane world."
Twelve participants with severe depression signed up to receive high doses of the banned psilocybin. They were given capsules orally and monitored closely.
The medicinal properties of psilocybin were quickly realized. In just one week, all the participants were free of depression and self loathing. After three months, there were no lingering symptoms of depression whatsoever for five of the participants.

The relationship between himself and his employer was great in the initial stages, but it started to sour as soon as he started submitting the research data to Motorola.

CVD is no longer considered a disorder of lipid (fat) accumulation or elevated cholesterol, but rather a disease process characterized by low-grade inflammation of the vascular (artery) lining and an inappropriate wound healing of the blood vessels.
It is similar to a low-grade wound on your skin that does not heal, but it is on the inside. There is now extensive and rapidly growing evidence that inflammation, which is what you get with every wound, plays a critical role in all stages of CVD. That is why if you treat the cholesterol you are treating the symptoms, yet if you treat the inflammation you are treating the underlying cause of the disease...
The Medical College of Virginia was funded by the NIH (National Institutes of Health) in 1974, with the aim to provide evidence that cannabis can impede the immune system and can destroy brain cells. In fact, this research was triggered by the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) under the Nixon administration as a weapon against pot smokers, and a way to justify their imprisonment.
Nevertheless, regardless of their aim, researchers actually found some quite interesting facts related to cannabis. Their examination discovered that, on the contrary, the only cells that were destroyed were the cancer ones, and the immune system was actually strengthened. Of course, these findings put an end on these studies.
Sepp Hasslberger's insight:
So if some research shows results that don't fit our preconceptions (in this case "all drugs are bad") that research is promptly suppressed...
Consumer Advocate Tim Bolen about the socalled 'skeptics', a nasty crew of misfits who strive to become the gate keepers for truth on the internet. Othodox truth, none of that alternative medicine, anti-vaccine, electromagnetic sensitivity, nutrition stuff.

Right after the American Civil War a group was formed, calling itself the Ku Klux Klan. It’s purpose was to attack, from a position of secrecy, those they hated; wanted disenfranchised (held down) on the American scene. Their primary tactic, was the use of the white-sheet-with-eyeholes …
