Gave someone advice on some gear today. I have probably posted something along these lines together before but I thought a nice short summary of my today advice might serve a few people out there so here it is.

No decent weather in sight, so I decided to do some test shots with the Fujifilm 18-55mm f/2.8-4 Zoom on my newly acquired X-E1. Pretty murky outside so I thought why not give the maximum aperture a try out? So moving from f/2.8 at the wide end to f/4 at the long end I shot a few tests.

At first I started photographing races at Laguna Seca race track, then some work on the high school newspaper. After a stint in the Army, I became much more interested and involved in the craft. During our recent family mini-trip to Granada, we stayed at the picturesque Hotel Palacio De Santa Inés, in the Unesco World Heritage Albaicín district.
