« Beaucoup de jeunes de Pornichet sont obligés de quitter leur ville pour trouver à se loger parfois à 30 ou 40 kilomètres plus loin », se désole le maire Jean-Claude Pelleteur. La ville fait face à la hausse constante des prix du foncier et à sa raréfaction depuis la crise sanitaire du Covid. En moyenne, le prix au mètre carré d’un appartement se situe à 6 000 euros et celui des terrains entre 700 et 1 000 euros. « Impossible dans ces conditions, même pour les ménages avec de bonnes situations professionnelles, d’accéder à la propriété sans une aide extérieure », constate encore le maire. C’est pourquoi la commune de 12 500 habitants a fait le choix de se lancer dans le bail réel et solidaire.

The Danish government intends to use its EU Council presidency in the second half of this year to prioritise reaching an agreement among member states on a 2040 climate target for the European Union, said climate and energy minister Lars Aagaard at the annual summit of the energy industry association Eurelectric in Brussels. Also speaking at the conference, the European Commission’s top energy official Ditte Juul Jørgensen announced that her institution would very soon present legislative proposals aimed at ending imports of gas and nuclear energy from Russia – another priority for the Danish Council presidency. The official said that the EU would still need fossil molecules for the coming decades.

Émerge alors l’idée d’organiser un budget participatif qui leur serait dédié. Inédit pour une collectivité de cette taille (1 300 agents), le dispositif prévoit une enveloppe de 200 000 euros, soit 100 000 euros annuels pour une édition à cheval entre 2023 et 2024.

Dans l’édition de cette année, nous avons évalué les indicateurs de manière rétrospective - sur dix ans dans le cas de la rénovation et cinq pour la mobilité électrique-, afin d’identifier les facteurs qui ont amélioré – ou détérioré - l’accessibilité économique des solutions de transition sur les dernières années. Nous présentons ces indicateurs pour deux ménages types : la famille Deschamps et la famille Villeneuve, toutes deux dans les classes moyennes, propriétaires de leur logement et dépendantes de la voiture au quotidien sur qui repose la question de l'accessibilité de la transition.

The shared proposals adopted by the Assembly reflect a broad consensus on the need for concrete action against disinformation and highlight the importance of the solutions identified by participants to protect Moldova’s democracy.

THERE was serious fun and games at the University of Limerick Citizens’ Assembly, which saw over 100 Limerick people discuss research projects aimed at developing a more sustainable future for the region, each involving recreation.
Having listened to nine project presentations, Limerick citizens voted for the top three, which each received €10,000 to make their idea happen.
