"One figure I am not entirely convinced about is the assertion that digital books are on average 53% cheaper than print books. When I owned a Kindle last year, I used to compare a lot of book prices to see the price difference between the print version and the digital version. What I found was that there was not a lot of difference in price, nothing that would make me go “wow!”. 53%? I think that might be slightly on the optimistic side."

How effectively can we teach and learn given the virtual circumstances the world is facing?
There are several virtual resources to change the perspective of learning and teaching English and make those processes more achievable for teachers and learners who want to try new technological resources. A lot of different platforms are considered here, that allow us to learn vocabulary, read in an interactive way, improve pronunciation, among several other English teaching and learning features, which are designed for all types of learners.

This is something that educators need to know about. I tried it at home with my phone and it is very very easy. Great tool if you are out with family and friends. I like that you can limit to people in your contacts list.

Useful for keeping up to date with new social networks used by teenagers. It is important to do this so that educators and parents can teach students how to best use a social network, whilst also keeping themselves safe.

Technology allows me to assess my students in ways that simply was not possible formerly. I can see at the tap of a screen or a click of a button what level each student has attained and I can then plan accordingly. Differentiated instruction really becomes achievable with such technology, not only in the level of tasks set, but in the way in which students can tackle their work. Via Nik Peachey
