GNYC Board of Directors mourns the loss of Scout volunteer Ace Greenberg
On Friday, long time director of the Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America, Alan “Ace” Greenberg passed away. Ace was a very generous friend and thoughtful supporter of the youth development work for many years of Scouting in New York City. In addition to his long service as a board member, Ace recruited numerous honorees and chair’s for Good Scout events, and was himself a recipient of the Silver Beaver in 1997 and the Financial Tribute “Good Scout” Award in 1993. Ace was a dear friend to Scouting and he will be missed.
