Allestimento della Biennale des Antiquaires Non solo fashion e gossip. Vi avevamo parlato qualche tempo fa della collaborazione tra Karl Lagerfeld e la Biennale des Antiquaires 2012, per cui il designer sarebbe stato lo scenografo dell’evento. Il Syndicat National des Antiquaires ha presentato l’allestimento del noto stilista per la rassegna che si svolgerà al Grand Palais di Parigi dal 14 al 23 settembre. “Per questo progetto – ha raccontato Lagerfeld – mi sono semplicemente ispirato all’architettura stessa di Parigi, partendo dall’Esposizione Universale di inizio ’900, ma andando anche più indietro ai passaggi e alle gallerie del secolo precedente....

Taipei, April 23 (CNA) With Asia's growing interest in antiques, the organizer of a luxury antiques fair in France has made Taiwan one of its stops on a worldwide tour to promote the upcoming biennial extravaganza to art collectors and lovers around the world. The Biennale des Antiquaires, the oldest fine arts fair in France, will be held at the Grand Palais in Paris from Sept. 14-23, and boasts 150 exhibitors of rare objects from antiques to contemporary fine jewelry. (...) Tapping Asia's growing market is also a strategy of the elite and prestigious art fair, the Biennale des Antiquaires in Paris. Mr Christian Deydier, president of the fair's organising body, made the first of his Asian stops in Singapore earlier this week, with Chinese jewellery artist Wallace Chan, who is the first Asian to take part in the fair to be held from sept 14 to 23. The pair met the media at a tea session at Raffles Hotel. This was followed by a cocktail party for prominent private collectors at the French ambassador's residence in Cluny Park Road. The selection of Hong-Kong based Chan, a much-sought after jewellery artist known for his masterly designs which cost between $125,000 and more than $10 million, attests to their seriousness about Asia, says Mr. Deydier.
