Volunteer opportunity at CAWS. Their 4 day spay and neuter clinic is coming up, and they can use help with setting up, keeping up the queue, dealing with animals pre and post neuter, and load out. The clinic will be on Sunday the 25th, Monday the 26th, Wednesday the 28th, and Thursday the 29th, and will be at Falcon Field. Call 669-1468.

A Town Hall meeting for complaints and objections regarding liquor licenses is being held on Monday the 19th from 10am to noon. If there's an open air noisy spot near you, you can also file a noise complaint at the police station in the mean time; it's free and easy, and the complaints are also mentioned at the meeting. On top of that, you can post about them, as the more people are made aware, the less they go to noisy establishments. Defeat them the easy way, and then go to the meeting and watch the owners get grilled. See you there!

The Allegro Christmas Recital will be next Sunday the 21st at the SHC auditorium, and will start at 6pm. All proceeds go towards pediatric cancer patients.

"As our tradition, 100% of the proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to a charity organization, This year to the San Ignacio Cancer Society to support pediatric cancer patients. Your presence helps make a real difference this Christmas."

Mountain Pine Ridge, one of the nicest reserves in Central America has Rio On Pools, Big Rock Falls, Rio Frio Cave, 1000 Foot Falls, and many other off the beaten sites. Contact the BTIA to reserve your spot, and you'll get to see nature, birds, wildlife, and then get to swim in the falls.
